Privacy policy

SaveVideo is a public video downloader service. This document describes what data we receive when you use the site and how it is stored.

What data we receive

The server records the request URL and an anonymised IP address (truncated to /24) in access logs — for usage stats and abuse prevention. No cookies are used. localStorage only stores the current locale and theme; it is functional storage that is never sent to the server.

Retention

Access logs are rotated automatically and removed after 14 days. Prepared files and probe cache are kept for at most 3 hours and then deleted without trace.

Cookies and trackers

The service does not use cookies, does not include Google or Yandex analytics, and does not share data with third parties.
