What quality can I download videos in?
MP4 is supported in every resolution up to 4K (2160p). For 1080p and below we simply mux ready-made streams from YouTube without quality loss — it takes seconds. 1440p and 2160p require re-encoding and take 1–3 minutes. MP3 is available at 320, 192 and 128 kbps.
Is the service safe to use?
Yes. Finished files are kept no longer than 3 hours and removed automatically. There is no history, no accounts and no ads. The site runs over HTTPS; server logs keep an anonymized IP (up to /24) and the request URL for stats and debugging. Logs are rotated automatically and kept for at most 14 days.
Are YouTube Shorts supported?
Yes. Shorts, Clips and recordings of finished live streams (live archive) download just like regular videos. Active live streams are not supported. The overall duration limit is 3 hours — longer videos (e.g. multi-hour live archives) are rejected.
Do you keep a download history?
No. The finished file is available via a link for up to 3 hours after it is ready, then it is removed automatically. There are no user accounts and no public operation log.
Does the service work with other sites?
Technically yes. We use yt-dlp under the hood, which supports around 1800 sites (Vimeo, Twitch, TikTok and others). We can only guarantee stability for YouTube — other sources depend on their own anti-download measures.
